Graduate Student Research Conference in Business and Economics (GradCon)

Мероприятие завершено
Venue: University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee (USFSM), Sarasota, Florida

This conference will debut on May 26-27, 2017 at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee (USFSM), Sarasota, Florida. The purpose of this conference is to create an outlet for graduate students in the business and economics fields including other related areas such as hospitality and tourism, information technology, geography, communication, and education. This conference will be a  low-cost conference (Registration will be less than $175 and hotel rooms will be less than $100 per night), which will make it affordable for graduate students. It is produced by Association of North America Higher Education International ( ANAHEI ), which is a non-profit organization that aims to connect campuses across  globe . USFSM is a sponsor for this conference. It will be a double-blind, peer-reviewed conference. The conference will have also other useful sessions for graduate students (e.g. how to publish in  top-tier  journals, how to prepare yourself for a tenure-track position, one to one mentoring sessions with established faculty members). The first author must be a graduate student to submit a paper to this conference.

We would like to invite you to take part in this initiative in one (or more) of these three ways:

1) Scientific Committee Member (to steer the direction of the conference, 2 conference calls are required, 4-6 hours of time commitment) AND/OR
2) Track Chair (recruit reviewers, administer the paper review process and make decisions) AND/OR
2) Reviewer (review the submitted papers)
