X Annual International Research Workshop "Financial Markets and Corporate Strategies: Comparative Studies".

Each year, the conference brings together a large number of researchers from leading universities around the world and offers a variety of topics for discussion.

Victoria Dobrynskaya, School of Finance assistant professor, will be the keynote speaker at the workshop with the report: “Is Downside Risk Priced In Cryptocurrency Markets”.

Researchers from all fields of financial science are invited to participate.

Speakers who can offer advanced analysis of emerging capital markets and their comparison to European and other developed capital markets are particularly welcome. The main goal of the workshop is to foster the development of the academic environment and encourage the exchange of knowledge between young researchers.

PhD students will be invited to make 20-minute presentation, followed by detailed feedback from academics and experts in the field.

The best papers will be published in one of the best Russian academic journals - “Journal of Corporate Finance Research”. For many years the journal has been included in the VAK`s list and is indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI), as well as in the DOAJ, RePEc, EBSCO, SSRN, Publons, Mendeley databases. Since 2015, the “Journal of Corporate Finance Research” has been included in the top 1000 Russian journals of the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) based on the Web of Science database.

The working language of the workshop is English.

Workshop will be held in a mixed format (mainly offline).

To participate in the workshop, please send to the organising committee theses and an abstract (up to three pages) with a clearly formulated idea of the main hypothesis of the research, methods, data and results, as well as your brief CV by March 28th, 2023.
