Helen Selorm Wohoyie presented her research at the V International Research Conference "Interaction. Integration. Inclusion: from Reflection to Action"

Helen Selorm Wohoyie, graduate student at Institute of Social Policy / Center for Stratification Studies, Doctoral School of Sociology, National Research University Higher School of Economics, participated in the International Research Conference “Interaction. Integration. Inclusion: From Reflection to Action”. The conference was organized by the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research at HSE University, in partnership with The Journal of Social Policy Studies. She presented findings from her critical review paper, which analyzed menstrual taboos in Ghana through the theoretical frameworks of symbolic violence and stigma, during the panel “Women’s Agency in the Global Context: Challenges and Social Policies.”
