The International PhD Seminar in Education recently hosted its fourth session, "Strategies for Success in Scientific Publishing", offering aspiring authors a roadmap to navigate the publishing landscape. On December 23rd, participants gained invaluable insights from Dr. Melody Zhang (Executive Associate Editor, ECNU Review of Education) on how to enhance their research's visibility and impact.

The third session of the International PhD Seminar in Education was successfully held on November 25. The seminar provided a platform for participants to engage in meaningful discussions and exchange ideas on pressing issues surrounding gender inequalities in education and the labor market. Meghna Khurania from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India, and Margarita Kiryushina from HSE University, Russia, delivered insightful presentations, highlighting the significance of addressing these challenges globally.

A number of research organizations and universities, including HSE, will be able to establish their own academic degrees, under a decree signed by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
Ivan Smirnov graduated from his master’s programme in Paris and hadn’t really considered coming back to Russia. But that was before he learned about the full-time advanced doctoral programme at HSE. The programme has some unique advantages among Russian programmes, which make it comparable to European PhDs.
