HSE welcomes students from different backgrounds and qualifications coming from all over the world.

International students can submit the application as

• state-sponsored places carried out in accordance with international treaties and intergovernmental agreements of the Russian Federation (Federal Quota scheme with full-tution scholarship), or as
• full-fee paying students (Fee-paying scheme).

PhD studies are conducted in full-time format.
 

Steps to apply:

1. Choose your programme and Doctoral School.

2. Learn more about entry requirements for each type of place:

• Full-Tuition Scholarships → Required documents 
• Tuition Fee Scheme  → Required documents → Entance exams 

 

3. Submit the application via the website.

Please note: there are different deadlines for submitting documents for each place.
