Visa&Registration
According to Russian migration laws, students must begin their studies not later than 30 days before their student entry visas expire. Foreign citizens must register with migration services within 1 day after their arrival to Russia.

STEP 1: You apply for a student single-entry visa in your home country consulate |
STEP 2: You apply for a registration within 1 day after your arrival to Russia |
STEP 3: You apply for a multiple-entry visa 60 days before your first visa expires |
All traveling and medical insurance expenses are covered by the student, sponsor, or sponsoring organization.
Students arriving at HSE should coordinate the date and details of their arrival with the Office for Doctoral Programmes (aspirantura@hse.ru) and the manager of chosen Doctoral School.
Accommodation
HSE offers accommodation to students in the university’s dormitories.
